This khaki wool tunic recreates the look of the officer’s service dress worn by Canadian soldiers in the Great War. It has a smooth olive-khaki wool body, a notched collar and lapels, shoulder straps and four large button-flap pockets. A fitted waist band gives it the sharp, tailored shape of an officer’s cut. Gold crowned buttons run down the front. Pointed gold braid cuffs carry gold maple leaf rank insignia, the traditional Canadian substitute for pips.
