Description

This British Light Company jacket is inspired by the 1768 uniform regulations and is cut slightly shorter than a standard regimental coat. Made from madder-red wool broadcloth and lined with serge, it features wool regimental braid and period-style pewter buttons.

The shorter skirts are turned up at the front only, while the back follows the distinctive 1778 Wharley Camp illustrations by De Loutherbourg. Details include a central overlapping vent, a traditional “Tommy behind” lace triangle, and full side pleats for an authentic historical appearance.
