This historically accurate Prussian Army tunic is based on the Pattern 1842 and Pattern 1864 uniforms worn until 1871. It is faithfully reproduced from original examples preserved at the Army Museum in Stockholm and from an 1880 original in a private collection.
Crafted from dark-blue wool cloth, the tunic is lined with white cotton in both the body and sleeves. It features eight slightly domed brass front buttons, with the collar, cuffs, shoulder straps, and piping finished according to the selected regiment or brigade.
Available in standard sizes or made to measure. An officer’s superfine version is also offered, tailored with a heavily padded chest and narrow tapered waist to reflect the fashionable military silhouette of the period.
